IGI, other family trees
IGI states Rowland Froggett bp. Oct 1702 in Baslow was son of Thomas. Roland Froggatt bp. Oct 1702 in Calver was son of Richard Froggatt & Elizabeth Baggely. The latter Roland married Ann Savage 3 Sept 1727 at Bakewell (or Bakewell district). The said Richard was bp. 11 June 1665 in Baslow, was married in Sept 1691 & died 1729 in Baslow. His wife, Elizabeth was b. c1667 in Baslow. They had 11 children.
It is to be noted that, although Calver & Baslow are 2 separate villages, Calver was in the parish of Baslow. The two could well be 'interchanged'.
It is not known if there were 2 Rowlands living at the same time - given the dates & places of baptism & burial.
