Some sources say the mother of Thomas could have been Mary Torr als Vincent (757), but she is thought to have died in 1634 which may well have been before the birth of Thomas. Mary was also known as Mary Vincent or Vincent als Torr. His (presumed) father's marriage to Mary Lane was in 1638. As Thomas' birth date is in doubt, both Marys would have a claim of parentage.

The Testator's wife was Ann SMITH of Peterchurch, daughter of John SMITH of Wellbrook (d. c1645) by his wife Ann. See her Will (as Ann GOOD) 1695.
Thomas GOODE and his wife had three children - the a/m James, Elizabeth who married John GUNTER (see his Will) and Ann. James d. bef 1693 apparently sp. Their grandchild Ann GUNTER mar Samuel CLARKE of Kilpeck (see his Will).

Thomas Traherne is recognised today, particularly, by The Traherne Association, who celebrate Traherne Day each year on October 10th and hold a Traherne Festival (as part of the Hay on Wye Festival, this year on 3rd June 2011) at Credenhill and Hereford on 4th & 5th June (2011).
